Automotive Trade Shows in Europe: 2026–2028 Calendar

Automotive trade shows in Europe serve different markets: repair and aftermarket supply, mobility technology, coach operations and public vehicle experiences. Choose the event and participation format that match your product and intended conversations. This calendar separates confirmed future editions from completed events and highlights the checks needed before committing exhibition space, stand production or freight.

Automotive trade shows in Europe: confirmed edition calendar

The organiser sources below were checked on 12 October 2026. This is a selected planning list, not a ranking by size or a complete industry calendar. Confirm the edition, participation terms and your allocated space directly before booking. Public opening dates do not establish build-up, vehicle entry or dismantling times.

AutoCar Expo: specify the actual coach-sector display

The organiser’s practical information confirms the December 2026 dates and Hall 6 at Eurexpo Lyon. Its presentation describes a coach tourism and mobility event bringing together vehicle manufacturers, bodybuilders, engine and equipment suppliers and service providers.

A full coach display needs a different brief from a seat sample, component assembly or operations software demonstration. Establish the exhibit dimensions, weight, operating state, access requirements and visitor interaction before selecting the stand format. Coordinate vehicle positioning with the surrounding installation so a completed counter or floor does not prevent delivery.

The practical page includes inconsistent year wording in its Thursday hours. Reconfirm that timetable before relying on an evening opening. Obtain current contractor and vehicle instructions separately. The AutoCar Expo stand comparison guide sets out the information to use when comparing proposals.

IAA MOBILITY: choose Summit or Open Space deliberately

The IAA Summit organiser page confirms 7–10 September 2027 at Messe München, with a separate accredited-media press day on 6 September. The IAA Conference is part of the Summit. Do not treat the overall IAA MOBILITY dates as six days of professional hall opening.

The IAA Open Space is the public city-centre format on 7–12 September 2027, with free visitor admission. That admission policy does not mean exhibiting is free. A public demonstration and a technical partner meeting have different audience needs, staffing and presentation requirements.

For an indoor proposal, establish the allocated plot, demonstration equipment, meeting space and service orders. For an outdoor or city-centre concept, obtain the applicable location, construction, weather, access and operating requirements before specifying a structure. Do not transfer a hall design or delivery plan between formats without review.

EQUIP AUTO Paris: plan around aftermarket questions

The current organiser date page confirms 12–16 October 2027 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Its sector overview includes repair and maintenance, parts, workshop equipment, digital services and other automotive after-sales activities. Use the current floor plan and your booking for the relevant pavilion and stand position.

Specify what the visitor should be able to examine. A diagnostic workflow may need a readable screen and a sample case; tooling may require a supervised demonstration and suitable support; a parts display needs clear identification and space to discuss compatibility. Establish any operating, material or service constraints with the responsible specialists.

Keep 2025 anniversary information separate from the 2027 booking. Existing photographs and earlier programmes can help identify questions, but do not prove the next edition’s hall allocation, installation schedule or included services.

Automechanika Frankfurt: September 2026 is complete

The official Automechanika Frankfurt site records the completed event on 8–12 September 2026 and announces the next Frankfurt edition for 5–9 September 2028. This corrects this article’s earlier claim of a Frankfurt edition on 9–13 September 2025. Do not use that old entry for travel or exhibition planning.

For a future aftermarket stand, decide which repair, service or supply question the presentation will answer. Build the brief around the actual equipment, sample and conversation. Request the relevant edition’s participation documents when available; do not assume the 2026 allocation, tariff, demonstration conditions or order deadlines carry forward to 2028.

Choose an event against a commercial objective

Write the intended audience and action before comparing event size. A workshop distributor meeting, software integration discussion and public product experience are different objectives. Review the organiser’s sector information and available exhibitor directory, identify suitable contacts and test whether the participation format supports those conversations.

Compare exhibiting with visiting, arranging meetings or another available participation format. Include the team’s time and ability to follow up. An event can be relevant without a full stand being the right investment for a particular year. Attendance figures alone cannot establish the likely return for your product.

Budget the complete participation and demonstration

Separate space, organiser services, stand design, production, graphics, equipment, freight, handling, installation, support, dismantling, storage, travel and staffing. Identify taxes, estimates, exclusions and the party placing each order. Use the same scope when comparing custom, modular and rental proposals.

The European exhibition budget guide provides a way to organise those headings. A modular component may be reused, but assess the later plot, ownership, condition, transport and adaptation costs before assuming savings. Request written approval and change responsibilities for the proposed construction and demonstration.

Prepare the team and measure agreed next steps

Test the presentation on the actual equipment, including an alternative if a connection or live demonstration fails. Brief colleagues on the product questions, meeting handovers and escalation contacts. Keep waiting visitors and conversations within the planned space.

Record the need discussed, relevant product and agreed action through your approved contact process. Assign follow-up to a named person and review qualified discussions, opportunities and realised business separately. Evaluate results against the full participation cost rather than treating badge scans or stand traffic as attributable profit.

To discuss a stand, send Adam Expo Stand your chosen event and format, allocated plot, exhibit specifications, activities and budget scope through the project contact form. Ask for a proposal that makes the delivery responsibilities and dependencies clear.
