CES Unveiled booth design starts with the exact event and participation package. European preview events differ from the main CES exhibition in Las Vegas. Confirm your accepted booking, display space and services before commissioning construction. Then build a concise product demonstration, suitable meeting arrangement and delivery plan around the organiser’s instructions for that particular event.
CES Unveiled booth design: identify the correct event
“CES Europe” can refer loosely to European CES activity, but it does not identify one universal exhibition format. CTA’s 2025 announcement used the name CES Unveiled Europe for an Amsterdam event. A historical announcement does not establish the date, location or package of your next booking.
CES Unveiled Amsterdam took place on 14 September 2026 as an invitation-only event for the Dutch innovation community. It has already concluded. Do not plan a new stand against that past date or assume its access arrangements apply to another city.
CES Unveiled Milan is scheduled for 21 October 2026 at Allianz MiCo South Wing as a European preview of CES 2027. As checked on 11 October, exhibiting submissions have closed. Existing exhibitors should use their confirmed instructions; anyone without an accepted booking should ask the organiser about their situation before purchasing stand services.
The main CES 2027 runs on 6–9 January 2027 in Las Vegas. Participation in a European preview does not itself establish space, eligibility, services or permission to build at the main show. Keep the bookings and operational requirements distinct.
Understand the participation package before designing
Ask what is actually supplied: table, counter, display structure, graphics, furniture, power, connectivity and staff access. Obtain usable dimensions, permitted additions and delivery instructions. A compact supplied display and a space-only exhibition stand need different design work; do not order a large custom structure based on the event name alone.
Confirm whether any equipment presentation, filming, sound, lighting or visitor activity requires separate approval. Have the designer work from the real package and rules. An attractive rendering does not prove that an element can be delivered, installed or used in the allocated space.
For Milan, the official travel page confirms Allianz MiCo South Wing. That is not a booking at Fiera Milano Rho. Visitor entrances and hotel information do not establish freight access, unloading arrangements or a supplier’s permitted working hours.
Choose one product story visitors can test or understand
Write a short explanation of the problem, intended user and product response. Then decide what the visitor should see or do. A demonstration should answer a meaningful question about the product rather than merely attract attention to a screen or novelty installation.
| Product presentation | Useful visitor task | Preparation needed |
|---|---|---|
| Connected device | See a defined interaction and its result | Working unit, required services, operator and reset process |
| Software or AI tool | Follow a relevant workflow | Approved example data, clear limitations and local fallback |
| Physical prototype | Understand what the prototype demonstrates | Accurate status label, suitable support and handling arrangements |
| Immersive demonstration | Explore a specific product application | Operation, waiting space, supervision and accessible alternative |
| Media conversation | Find an accurate story and usable information | Spokesperson, approved images, facts and contact route |
| Partner or investor meeting | Discuss the relevant proposition privately | Suitable appointment plan, authorised documents and next action |
Distinguish a finished product, prototype and concept. Explain what has been tested and under which conditions. Avoid presenting an animation as evidence of a functioning feature or making a general performance claim from a demonstration that supports only a narrower result.
Try the presentation with someone who did not develop it. Check whether they understand the task, can see the display and know what to ask next. Simplify the content when explanation takes too long; adding another interaction can make the original message harder to understand.
Make the demonstration reliable and respectful of visitor data
List power, connectivity, devices and operator requirements with the responsible supplier. Test the intended software version and assets. Keep an appropriate local alternative, such as a clearly labelled recorded workflow, so the team can explain the offer if a connection or device fails.
Use fictitious or appropriately authorised demonstration data. Avoid exposing customer records, credentials or private documents on a public display. If an interaction collects visitor information, explain its purpose and use a suitable collection process. A personalised greeting is not a reason to gather unnecessary personal data.
Provide a way to understand the offer without using a headset or completing a game. Staff should know how to pause, restart and explain the demonstration. Plan the waiting position within the permitted area and keep visitor routes usable.
Design the display around its permitted footprint
Place product identification and the opening message where they are easy to read. Keep detailed specifications available for the relevant conversation. Show the designer actual devices, packaging and operational needs rather than relying on placeholder objects in a rendering.
Consider staff positions, occupied chairs and storage access when checking the layout. If a supplied table is the main presentation surface, specify how devices, labels and cables will be arranged on it. Useful design can be a precise compact display rather than extensive construction.
Our small exhibition booth guide offers practical layout considerations. Apply them within the event’s actual package and permissions. Do not assume screens, hanging signs, platforms or structural additions are included or acceptable.
Budget and schedule CES Unveiled booth design realistically
Separate participation charges from graphics, display production, furniture, audiovisual equipment, transport, handling and installation. Identify services supplied by the organiser and those booked separately. Confirm who removes packaging, returns hired equipment and takes responsibility for the product after closing.
Compare suppliers using the same accepted display and deliverables. Ask for quantities, assumptions, exclusions and support arrangements. A nominal price for a counter or screen does not describe a complete delivered presentation. Use our turnkey stand buyer’s guide to clarify responsibilities.
Work backwards from the confirmed artwork, service-order, delivery and collection deadlines. Assign product readiness, content approval and staff training alongside physical production. A generic six-month timeline is not useful evidence that a specific remaining programme can be delivered.
Prepare press, partner and customer conversations
Create a concise information pack with approved facts, product status, images and a named contact. Check rights to the images and demonstrations you share. Media attention depends on editorial interest; neither a distinctive stand nor an exhibition booking guarantees coverage.
Prepare staff to distinguish a product enquiry, partnership discussion, media request and investor conversation. Provide an appropriate route for information that should not be discussed publicly. A visitor’s interest does not automatically establish a qualified sales opportunity.
Record the requested next step, responsible person and useful deadline. Follow up with the material actually discussed through an appropriate process. Review meetings, proposals and resulting business separately from badge scans, impressions and potential pipeline. Compare event costs with attributable outcomes without treating future possibilities as realised return.
Questions about European CES presentations
Does CES Unveiled use the same stand rules as CES Las Vegas?
Use the instructions for the particular accepted booking. Do not transfer construction rights, services or access requirements between events.
Should every technology exhibitor use robotics or virtual reality?
No. Select a presentation that explains the actual product and can be operated reliably within the permitted space and budget.
What does a stand supplier need to quote?
Share the event, accepted package, display dimensions, product, demonstration plan, services and deadlines. Contact Adam Expo Stand to discuss a defined scope for graphics, display elements or stand delivery.
