Use your VivaTech 2026 stand review to decide what to keep, change and test for the next exhibition. Compare the demonstrations, meetings and follow-up with your original objectives and complete costs. Attendance at a technology event does not, by itself, establish sales or investment return.
The organiser now announces VivaTech on 16–19 June 2027 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Confirm your package and current exhibitor instructions before commissioning work for that edition.
Review the 2026 evidence
Bring together the original brief, final stand plan, service orders, team feedback and commercial records. Separate visitors, scans, relevant conversations, completed demonstrations, appointments and later opportunities. Record what actually happened rather than inferring success from the organiser’s total audience.
Ask which message visitors understood, which product questions recurred, where queues formed and what interrupted demonstrations. Note the source of each observation. A photograph can show circulation or display placement, but cannot prove that the layout caused a sale.
Choose the demonstration for the next brief
Define the user problem and one workflow that shows how the product addresses it. Give the presenter a short introduction and a deeper route for qualified questions. Test the explanation with someone unfamiliar with the product; there is no universal ideal demo duration.
- List equipment, screens, charging, power and connectivity.
- Use approved example data and demonstration accounts.
- Prepare a recording or screenshots for connection failures.
- Agree who resets the equipment between sessions.
- Review visitor position, visibility and circulation within the allocated space.
Match the stand to the booked package
A supplied startup display and a separately contracted exhibition space can have different permissions. Check dimensions, inclusions, artwork templates and rules for extra furniture or equipment. Do not assume that an external builder may modify a supplied display.
For a custom space, brief the designer on the activities, staffing, product dimensions, meetings and storage. Confirm the event-specific technical requirements before approving height, rigging, enclosed areas or a raised floor. The venue name alone does not establish a permitted design.
Prepare different conversations
Customers, partners, investors and journalists need different evidence and next steps. Prepare approved product information, a relevant case example and clear contact details. Use the official programme and exhibitor tools to check eligibility for meetings or pitch opportunities; exhibiting does not guarantee access to either.
Schedule coverage for the stand while team members attend meetings elsewhere. Agree who records questions and who owns follow-up. Keep confidential or unreleased material out of unattended displays.
Compare the full programme cost
Include the participation package, permitted stand additions, graphics, AV, connectivity, venue services, transport, travel, staffing and later follow-up. Ask suppliers to identify inclusions, exclusions and assumptions. Compare proposals for the same scope rather than relying on a generic price per square metre.
Use the current exhibitor instructions for deliveries, installation, service deadlines and removal. Assign each order and approval to a named person. Our Porte de Versailles technical preparation guide explains the questions to resolve with the organiser and supplier.
Questions for the next project
Should we repeat the 2026 design? Retain components that remain suitable after checking the next plot, activities and condition.
How do we judge return? Define complete cost, attributed commercial results and the measurement period; report pipeline separately from completed sales.
What should we send a builder? The package, allocated plan, current manual, demonstration requirements, languages, dates and budget scope. Discuss the next stand brief.
