Airspace Integration Week Madrid was a 2023 event. EUROCONTROL’s event archive records 25–28 September 2023 and identifies IFEMA Madrid and Cuatro Vientos Airport as the locations. This page provides historical context and planning questions for aviation exhibitors; it is not a current registration page.
Read the EUROCONTROL event record for the original event information. Confirm a new event and its organiser separately before arranging travel, exhibition space or services.
What did the Madrid event cover?
The archived programme addressed the integration of air traffic, unmanned aircraft traffic and space traffic, together with civil–military cooperation. It brought different airspace topics into one discussion rather than establishing a single operating rule for every aircraft or country.
For an exhibitor, that breadth makes a precise explanation useful: which problem does the product address, who uses it and what is actually being demonstrated? A general promise about the future of aviation does not answer those questions.
Translate the product into a clear demonstration
Choose a workflow and prepare its starting conditions, visible actions and result. Identify which elements are live, simulated or recorded. Use public demonstration data approved by your organisation and keep confidential information out of screens and handouts.
Give the stand designer the equipment dimensions, presenter position, audience space and connection requirements. Check the readability of interfaces, captions and diagrams with the intended viewing positions. Prepare a suitable fallback where a presentation depends on connectivity.
Separate an exhibition display from an operating demonstration
A static model, software presentation and live aircraft activity require different arrangements. Do not infer permission from the event’s aviation theme. Describe the intended activity to the organiser and relevant technical specialists and obtain the applicable requirements before designing around it.
For future exhibitions, plan deliveries using the actual venue procedures and confirmed services. Speculative drone deliveries or air-taxi journeys are not a basis for promising shorter stand-build times or lower logistics costs.
Prepare for different technical conversations
Define who welcomes visitors, presents the workflow and handles detailed questions. List what documentation can be shared and what needs a separate discussion. Allow a longer conversation to continue without blocking another demonstration.
Ask visitors which issue they are investigating and record the information promised, responsible colleague and next action through your organisation’s privacy process. Distinguish an interesting conversation from a confirmed commercial result.
Planning a current airspace event?
Airspace World is a separate event. Its official website lists the 2027 edition at FIL in Lisbon on 25–27 May. Do not transfer Madrid’s historical dates, locations or access arrangements to that booking.
Our Airspace World stand guide explains how to brief demonstrations, meeting space, suppliers and handover for the confirmed participation.
Questions before briefing a future aviation stand
Which event documents should I use?
The current organiser’s offer, allocated plan, exhibitor manual and working schedule. Historical articles provide context, not current booking conditions.
Can we run the equipment live?
Describe the exact activity and obtain the applicable permissions and technical requirements. A static exhibition display does not establish permission to operate it.
What should the builder receive?
Confirmed space, product and equipment specifications, demonstration workflow, meeting needs, budget, deadlines and approval contacts.
