ISE Barcelona 2026 is a past edition. For the next participation, the organiser announces ISE 2027 on 2–5 February at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via. Check the official ISE website and the contracted edition’s documentation before setting the stand schedule.
For an audiovisual or systems integration brand, the brief should describe what visitors need to see and hear, how the product will be demonstrated and which services make it possible. Use this guide to review the 2026 experience and prepare a new project with current conditions.
Review your ISE Barcelona demonstrations
Record which systems worked, which questions repeated and where visibility, sound, connectivity or circulation caused difficulties. Separate team observations from recorded commercial outcomes. Visual impact alone does not demonstrate increased sales.
For the next event, define the audience and principal action: listen to a comparison, see an installation, try a control or discuss a project. A live demonstration can help, but it is not compulsory for every product. Identify recorded content and simulations clearly.
Design around the actual equipment
Give the designer dimensions, weights, mounts, connections and ventilation requirements. Show operator and viewer positions as well as maintenance access. Check that the product can be presented without blocking reception, meetings or storage.
Review ambient light, reflections and screen viewing distances. For audio, consider the effect on other demonstrations and the organiser’s conditions. A visually separated area is not necessarily acoustically isolated.
Prepare a demonstration and a fallback
- Choose a specific visitor need.
- Define the outcome the system should show.
- Test the sequence with the planned content and equipment.
- Assign presentation and support roles.
- Prepare an alternative if equipment or connectivity fails.
- Agree how the visitor conversation continues afterwards.
Adapt duration to the product and staffing capacity. A fixed presentation frequency will not suit every stand. Scheduled sessions also need a plan for sound, access and people waiting to watch.
Confirm services and responsibilities
List equipment and electrical loads, data connections, supports and any suspended elements. Confirm who orders, installs, tests and supports each service. Identify work that depends on the organiser or venue suppliers.
Read Fira de Barcelona’s regulations alongside ISE’s specific manual. Confirm access dates and approval conditions for the relevant edition, rather than carrying forward 2026 assumptions automatically.
Compare the budget by item
Separate booked space, design and production, graphics, furniture, AV, content, venue services, transport, installation, dismantling and support. Identify taxes, exclusions and assumptions. A generic price per square metre does not describe the integration complexity of your demonstration.
If using your own equipment, agree packing, delivery, handling responsibilities and return. For a reused stand, include component inspection, storage and graphic changes in the programme cost.
Review outcomes after the show
Record demonstrations, qualified enquiries, meetings and proposals separately. Keep the visitor’s relevant need and agreed next step with an owner and date. Review attributable outcomes and complete costs before assessing return.
