Batimat Paris: Construction Product Stand Planning

Plan a Batimat Paris stand around the construction products you need visitors to inspect and the decisions you want to support. Product samples, installation demonstrations and specification discussions need different space and equipment. Review the completed 2026 participation before choosing the next design.

The 2026 edition took place on 28 September–1 October at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The organiser now announces 2–5 October 2028 at the same venue. Confirm the next edition’s package and technical instructions before committing to a build.

Choose the product and audience

Identify whether you need to reach installers, specifiers, distributors, contractors or project owners. Prepare questions and evidence for the relevant role. A large crowd does not establish that the right decision-makers visited your stand.

List the products to show, including dimensions, weight, supports, operating needs and what visitors may handle. Select samples that explain a practical application or installation detail. Clearly identify prototypes and demonstration assemblies.

Make technical evidence accessible

Prepare accurate product references, drawings, installation instructions and documents relevant to the intended use. Have qualified colleagues review performance and environmental statements before publication. Do not treat a certification for one product or application as proof for an entire range.

Give visitors an easy way to request the right document after the conversation. Record the project, product reference and question so follow-up can be specific. Keep commercial promises within the team’s authority and mark items requiring confirmation.

Plan a useful demonstration

Decide what the demonstration should explain: assembly, adjustment, finish, compatibility or operation. Choose a process the team can repeat reliably. Confirm permitted tools, dust, noise, liquids, heat or moving equipment with the organiser before incorporating them.

  • Define who operates and supervises the demonstration.
  • Identify power, extraction or other specialist services.
  • Plan visitor position and separation from the working area.
  • Keep consumables, tools and replacement samples organised.
  • Allow time and space to reset without obstructing circulation.

Review loads, handling and installation

Give the designer and logistics provider packed weights, dimensions and support points. Heavy samples, glazing and large assemblies may need specialist handling and technical review. Confirm the suitability of the allocated position and proposed supports with the responsible parties.

Use the event’s current manual for approvals, access, service orders and removal. A generic hall-loading or height figure does not authorise a particular stand. Agree who supplies drawings, submits information and resolves technical questions.

Compare full cost and reuse

Include design, display construction, sample preparation, services, handling, transport, installation, staff and dismantling. Ask for itemised proposals covering the same scope. Check what happens to samples and display components after removal.

Assess reuse against the next product range, plot dimensions, condition, packing and storage. Reusing a suitable assembly can be useful, but neither a material label nor modular construction guarantees a particular saving or environmental result.

Review the results

Separate relevant conversations, technical requests, distributor enquiries, specifications and completed orders. Define the measurement period and attribution method before calculating commercial return. Use feedback from the 2026 team to improve the next product selection and stand brief.

Is Batimat at Villepinte? The organiser identifies Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for the announced 2028 edition.

Can every product be demonstrated live? Confirm the process and permissions with the organiser and appropriate technical specialists.

What should we send a builder? The product schedule, activities, plot, current manual, services and budget scope. Discuss a Batimat stand brief.
