MATELEC 2026 at IFEMA: Exhibitor Brief Checklist

MATELEC 2026 runs on 24–26 November at IFEMA Madrid. Check the official event website and your current exhibitor manual. This checklist helps collect the information an electrical-product exhibitor needs before commissioning a stand.

Confirm the participation

  • Event, booked package, allocated plan and open sides.
  • Services already included and items to order separately.
  • Current drawing, approval, service and working deadlines.
  • Organiser contacts and responsible members of your team.

Prepare one specification per demonstration

Record the product, visitor question and demonstration steps. Identify whether the equipment is static, simulated or operating. Provide dimensions, weight, support points, connections and handling needs.

Ask the equipment supplier and competent specialists to define electrical supply, operating separation and other relevant requirements. Include access for maintenance and a suitable fallback if the demonstration cannot run.

Define the display and conversation

Prepare the content, approved performance claims and evidence. For lighting demonstrations, identify the scenes and viewing conditions. For controls, describe the input and visible response. Explain any limitations or simulated data.

Mark presenter, audience, reception, meetings and storage on the plan using actual equipment and furniture dimensions. Check that one activity does not block another or occupy the public aisle.

Compare scope before price

Request design, fabrication, graphics, furniture, AV, transport, installation and dismantling as identifiable items. Separate venue services, technical documentation, handling, storage, taxes and exclusions. Confirm who supplies, orders, tests and removes each element.

Compare package, modular and custom options against the same requirements. Include later adaptation and storage if reuse is planned. A format name or price per square metre alone does not establish value.

Agree testing and follow-up

Plan a handover with the actual equipment, content and services. Record faults and responsible contacts. Brief staff on approved explanations and how to route specialist questions.

Capture relevant visitor interest and the agreed next action through your organisation’s privacy process. Review qualified conversations and closed business separately from badge scans.

Send Adam Expo Stand your MATELEC checklist to discuss a proposal based on confirmed participation and technical needs.
